Common Questions

Can I use ProFirstAid for my initial certification?

Yes, whether it is your first time or your 15th time, ProFirstAid is a great way to get CPR certified. We recommend that anyone being certified for the first time do a hands-on skill evaluation.

Is this approved by the American Heart Association?

The American Heart does not review or approve third party CPR providers (we're their competition). However, ProFirstAid does adhere to the AHA's guidelines and is a perfectly acceptable certification.

Does ProFirstAid meet OSHA requirements for CPR & First Aid?

Yes, the ProFirstAid blended course does meet OSHA requirements. However, it is still a good idea to check with your employer first to make sure they will accept ProFirstAid.

How many tries do I get to pass the test?

After watching the training videos, you should do just fine on the test. That said, you may retake the test as many times as you need to pass it. The test questions change each time, making no two tests identical.
